Millersville, Pa. – The Millersville University women's tennis team lost to Goldey-Beacom College by a score of 7-0 on Wednesday at the McComsey Courts.

"We did a lot of good things today. It was tough to start against a great team like Goldey-Beacom, but we got to see the level we're trying to get to."
"Our freshmen made an immediate impact today. Their intro to college tennis against the upper echelon of Division II was not too shabby."

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

Katina Jones and Jasmine Morris were locked in a tight match at flight one singles before it went unfinished. The Marauders were down 4-5 at the time it was called.

NOTES

Three freshmen made their collegiate debuts for Millersville (Kelsey Heckert, Sophie May and Jasmine Morris).

UP NEXT

The Marauders will next host Daemen College (N.Y.) on Saturday, Sept. 8 at 1 p.m. on McComsey Courts.
