
Millersville women's tennis team loses competitive match 4-5 at Shepherd

Shepherdstown, West Virginia -- The Millersville women's tennis team lost a contentious match against Shepherd University 4-5 Sunday.
The doubles team of sophomore Katina Jones and sophomore Sarah Sambrick won the only doubles match for Millersville 8-1.
Jones and Sambrick each won singles matches for the Marauders too. Jones won her match 6-1 and 6-0 while Sambrick won her match 6-4 and 6-1. Sophomore Jessica Soullaird won a competitive match 7-5 and 6-3.
The Millersville women's tennis team returns to the McComsey Tennis Courts April 10 against Philadelphia University at 2:30 p.m.
