
Women's tennis dominates Philadelphia, 8-1

Millersville, Pennsylvania -- The Millersville women's tennis team dominated the Philadelphia University Rams 8-1 at home Monday.
The Marauders took all three doubles matches. Sophomore Katina Jones and sophomore Sarah Sambrick cruised to an 8-4 victory. Junior Kimberly Theophile and sophomore Kelley Hershey controlled their match as they won 8-2. Freshman Molly Kulp and sophomore Jessica Soullaird won a more competitive 8-5 match.
Jones and Sambrick both blanked their opponents in the singles competition. Sophomore Haley Nauman won a contentious 8-6 singles match while Hershey won her singles match 8-3.
The Millersville women's travel to Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference rival East Stroudsburg University April 11.
