
Women's tennis loses 6-3 at PSAC rival East Stroudsburg

East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania -- The Millersville women's tennis team lost to Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference rival East Stroudsburg University 6-3 Tuesday.
Sophomores Katina Jones and Sarah Sambrick won the first match of the day before ESU took the other two doubles matches. Jones won the first singles match of the day with convincing back-to-back 6-1 sets. Sambrick followed up Jones' performance with a 6-4 and 6-2 singles victory over her opponent. Millersville failed to take another match despite sophomore Haley Nauman and sophomore Jessica Soullaird's best efforts.
The women's tennis team returns to the McComsey Tennis Courts Thursday April 13 when they take on PSAC rival West Chester University.
