
Women's tennis has tough outing against Goldey-Beacom

Millersville, Pennsylvania -- The Millersville women's tennis team fell to Goldey-Beacom College 9-0 Friday despite inspired play from junior Kimberly Theophile, sophomore Sarah Sambrick and sophomore Jessica Soullaird.
Theophile forced an extended first game against GBC's Alma Garcia, but Garcia took the game 7-5 and the second game 6-1. Sambrick played Francesca Beg tough but ultimately dropped both games 6-3. Soullaird lost her first game 6-1. Soullaird rallied and forced a more competitive second game against Manuela Cornejo, but she lost 6-4.
The Millersville women's tennis team returns to the McComsey Tennis Courts March 25 against Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference rival Bloomsburg University.
