
Women's tennis comes up short at Wayne State

Orlando, Florida -- The Millersville women's tennis team fell to Wayne State University 6-3 Tuesday.
The team dropped all three doubles matches but rebounded to win three singles matches. Sophomore Katina Jones took the first match 6-4 and 6-2. Sophomore Sarah Sambrick won a tight game 6-4 and 7-5. Sophomore Kelly Hershey won the final singles match 6-4 and 6-1. Despite the rebound, WSU would close out the final singles games to win the duals match.
The Millersville women's tennis team returns to the court Wed. March 15 against Oklahoma Baptist University in Orlando, Fl.
