
Women's Tennis Falls to Tennessee Wesleyan

Hilton Head, S.C. - Seeking their first win on their spring break trip to Hilton Head, the Marauder women couldn't come away with a win Sunday against Tennessee Wesleyan. The Bulldogs beat Millersville by a 8-1 score.
The tandem of Tori Davis and Kaylora Thompson were responsible for lone the score for the Marauders Sunday afternoon. Davis and Thompson combined to oust the top Bulldog duo of Rachel Walker and Kacka Saskova by a score of 8-3.
In singles action Davis lost to Abigail Ellis in the lineup's top spot by margins of 6-1,6-1. Nicole Daacke was the lone Marauder to win more than one set in singles action as she fell to Abigail Davis by a 7-5, 6-1 decision.
Millersville's loss drops the team's record to 1-2 on the season. The Marauders next match is tomorrow night when they square off against PSAC rival Clarion on Day 2 of the Hilton Head Tournament. The match is set to begin at 6 p.m.
