
Fifth Annual "LaxGiving" Event is a Success

Millersville, Pa. – The Millersville women's lacrosse team held its fifth annual "LaxGiving" lacrosse challenge on Oct. 11 to benefit Water Street Ministries.
The annual "LaxGiving" event is a 5v5 lacrosse challenge that is open to both middle school and high school female lacrosse players. In addition to holding 5v5 games, the Millersville lacrosse team works with the players teaching and fine-tuning their skills.
This year, nine teams participated at Biemsderfer Stadium and the event raised $225.00 which will be donated to the Water Street Ministries Organization. In addition, Millersville lacrosse will donate canned goods collected from the "LaxGiving" event.
Water Street Minitries provide aid to homeless and working-poor people in Lancaster by providing shelter, health services, education, and more. To find out more about the Water Street Mission you can visit http://www.wsm.org/.
