Marauders Roll in First Dual of The Season

Bel Air, Md. - The Millersville women's tennis team cruised past Harford Community College in its first dual of the 2014-15 season. The Marauders were ultra-competitive winning the match, 7-2.
Tori Davis defeated Haileigh Carper 6-4, 6-2 in No. 1 singles. Kaylora Thompson also won in No. 2 singles prevailing, 6-1, 6-2. Marauder freshman Samantha Brzenk was pushed the distance against the Fighting Owls before prevailing, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3.
No. 1 doubles featured Davis and Thompson. Millersville came out on top, 8-4. The No. 2 duo of Kimberly Theophile and Samantha Brzenk was also victorious winning the set, 8-5.
Millersville matches up against IUP next on Oct. 4 with the start time slated for 2 p.m.
