Hilton Head, S.C. - Playing one more match against Slippery Rock that was rescheduled from fall competition, Millersville's women's tennis team was blanked for the third day in a row, falling 9-0 to The Rock.
Melissa Plowman was defeated in two sets, Kelsey Waite was forced to retire due to injury and Elizabeth Wagner was topped in singles play. Following Wagner's loss, Tori Davis, Jess Taleff and Maggie Karr combined to win just one game courtesy of Taleff. In doubles play, only the combination of Wagner and Davis won more than two points, falling to The Rock's No. 2 pairing 8-4.
The Marauders now have a break until a Mar. 26 match against Cheyney. Start time for that tilt is slated for 2 p.m.
