Millersville, Pa. - After returning from a spring break trip, the Marauders were hoping to get the PSAC part of their schedule started on the right foot, and did just that Tuesday afternoon, shutting out Cheyney to the tune of a 9-0 score.

In doubles, the pairing of Melissa Plowman and Kelsey Waite defeated Taylor Billington and Jessica LaRoda 8-0, preceding Elizabeth Wagner and Tori Davis' blanking of Jasmine Pitt and Erica Kellem by the same 8-0 score. Cheyney forfeited the third spot.

Singles play saw Nicole Daacke start things off with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Billington, followed by a Jess Taleff shutout win over Pitt by 6-0, 6-0 scores. Alexandra Heller and Maggie Karr also defeated Kellem and LaRoda by 6-0, 6-0 scores, respectively. The Wolves forfeited the No. 5 and 6 spots.

Millersville now plays its next match on Friday with an away trip to Kutztown on the schedule. That match starts at 2 p.m.
