Hilton Head, S.C. - The Millersville women's tennis team suffered its fourth-straight defeat of the spring campaign Wednesday. This time it was to Connecticut College by a 7-2 final.
Junior Melissa Plowman had a hand in both of Millersville's points. She improved her record at No. 1 singles to 5-4 with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Maria Pia Sifuentes. Plowman has won four of her last five singles matches.
Plowman then teamed with Samantha Prager at No. 1 doubles to defeat Sifuentes and Jen Herbert by an 8-4 score. The duo's record is now 6-3 on the season and has won four of five matches.
Millersville caps its trip to Hilton Head on Friday against Missouri Valley College.
