Men's and Women's Tennis Tripped by Missouri Valley

Hilton Head, S.C. - The Millersville's men and women's teams closed the spring trip to Hilton Head with losses to Missouri Valley Friday afternoon. The men fell by a 7-2 score, and the women lost by an 8-1 final.

The Marauder men received a win in doubles from the No. 1 team of Preetham Moras and Jody Sambrick Jr. The duo defeated Brock Hughes and Wesley Ng, 8-4. Moras also scored Millersville's lone point in singles. He led Luiz Felipe Moura 6-0 when Moura withdrew.

The women's team received its only point from the No. 1 doubles of team of Melissa Plowman and Samantha Prager. They defeated Elanqua Griffin and Tershelle Burrows, 8-6.

The men's team dropped to 1-5 with the loss, and the women's team fell to 2-8. Both clubs begin PSAC action next. The women travel to Cheyney on March 27 and the men head to Bloomsburg on March 30.
