Hilton Head, S.C. - Melissa Plowman and Samantha Prager continued their strong seasons, but the Millersville women's tennis team fell short against Ohio Wesleyan Tuesday evening, 6-2.
Plowman and Prager improved to 5-2 at No. 1 doubles with an 8-5 win over Jordan Leslie and Becky Simon. Plowman also boosted her No. 1 singles record to 4-3 with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Simon.
Those were Millersville's only two points, though. Elizabeth Wagner took her first set at No. 4 singles 7-6 (7-3) and was knotted up at 6-6 (3-3) in the second before rain forced the match to be cut short.
Ohio Wesleyan improved to 4-3 overall while Millersville dropped to 2-5. The Marauders play Slippery Rock and Connecticut College Wednesday.
