Men's Tennis Stays Unbeaten in the PSAC With Rout of ESU

Millersville, Pa. - Millersville men's tennis decisively defeated East Stroudsburg 8-1 Saturday afternoon to stay unbeaten in PSAC play. The Marauders improved their record to 7-3 in the process.
The Marauders (7-3, 2-0) swept all six singles matches and took two of the three doubles bouts. The PSAC Doubles Champions--Preetham Moras and Drew Slocum--boosted their record to 11-3 with an 8-1 win over Will Norris and Ryan Baxter.
That dominating performance set the stage for the singles sweep. Moras rolled past Norris, 6-3, 6-4. Slocum needed three sets to get past Jared Rosenberg, but after fall 2-6 in the opening set, rallied for a 6-1 win in the second and a 6-4 win in the third.
Donald Swantko and Andrew Makos engaged in a wild match, which Swantko pulled out in a third set tiebreak, 1-6, 6-2, 7-6 (7-4). Tyler Reppert, Ryan Knarr and Henry Ben also won in straight sets.
Millersville hits the teeth of its conference schedule Monday against Bloomsburg. The matches at McComsey Tennis Courts begin at 3 p.m.
