Bloomsburg, Pa. - The Millersville women's tennis team dropped a PSAC Eastern Division match at Bloomsburg Saturday by the score of 8-1.
The Marauders (4-10, 0-4 PSAC East) remain in search of their first conference victory following Saturday's defeat. Bloomsburg improved to an impressive 10-3 overall on the season.
Freshman Melissa Plowman earned Millersville's one point. Playing at No. 3 singles, Plowman bounced back from a 6-2 first set loss by winning the second set, 6-3, and the third, 10-7. She now boasts a team-leading eight victories on the season.
Millersville closes the 2010 regular season on Tuesday at McComsey Tennis Courts against Cheyney.
