
Men's Tennis Makes it Three in a Row

Hilton Head, S.C. - The Millersville men's tennis team rolled to its third victory in a row, defeating Notre Dame College 7-2 behind strong doubles play.
The Marauders, now 4-3 on the year, swept all three doubles matches in convincing fashion and then took four of the six singles matches.
Drew Slocum and Andrew Sorgi teamed at No. 1 doubles to take down James Goodwin and Andy Sherman, 8-2. Mark Treires and Dusty Speicher notched their team-best fifth doubles win of the season by topping Kyle Roache and John Morris, 8-2. At No. 3 doubles, Donald Swantko and Henry Ben boosted their season record to 3-1 with an 8-1 win over Geoff Becktell and Micha Enthoven.
In singles action, Slocum won the first set 6-1 over Goodwin and then won the second 7-6 (7-2) for his third-straight victory after starting the season 0-4.
Sorgi improved to 3-0 playing at No. 3 singles with a 7-5, 6-1 win. Speicher won 6-0, 6-3 at No. 5 singles, and Colton Brown lifted his season record to a spotless 2-0 at No. 6 singles. Brown dropped the first set 4-6, but quickly bounced back by winning the second set 6-2 and the third 6-3.
The Marauders face Muskingum later Wednesday evening.
