Plowman and Prager Fall in PSAC Semis to Eventual Champs

Shippensburg, Pa. - Sophomore Samantha Prager and freshman Melissa Plowman drew California's top-seeded team for a chance to reach the doubles finals of the PSAC Individual Championships, but were turned denied, 8-1.
Prager and Plowman won two matches convincingly on Saturday, but on Sunday morning, Nina Kowalski and Laurie Navarro controlled the semifinal match from the start. Kowalski and Navarro went on to win the tournament with an 8-0 win over Mercyhurst's top doubles team.
Prior to the championships, Prager and Plowman had teamed only one other time this season. The tandem is now 3-1 on the season.
The championships conclude the fall schedule for the women's team.
