Millersville

Pat Brown

Patrick Brown

Pat Brown arrived at Millersville in the fall of 2015 and quickly made an impact with a Marauder defense that ranked second in the PSAC in pass defense.

Brown's corners helped the Marauders allowed just 188 yards per game. Joey Pham intercepted four passes and broke up 13, ranking second in the PSAC. He was also named PSAC East Defensive Player of the Week in week 11. In 2016, Brown's defensive backs were among the most productive in the PSAC. Safety P.J. Santos intercepted five passes and scored All-PSAC East honors.

Brown has quickly built a diverse resume, having coached as a strength and conditioning intern at North Carolina A&T and as a position coach and JV defensive coordinator at Dudley High School. At Dudley, his JV squad went undefeated and his cornerbacks contributed to the state's top-ranked pass defense.

Brown started his collegiate playing career at Georgia State and landed at Greensboro where he finished a degree in exercise and sports studies in 2012. He was recognized as member of the USA South Academic Team.
