Veteran coach Palmer Hossler returned to his alma mater prior to the 2015 season. Out of coaching for the previous 10 years in private business, Hossler works with the tight ends. He brings 26 years of experience to the coaching staff.
Of 20 years of collegiate coaching, 12 were at the Division I level (Florida, Memphis, and Arkansas State). He also spent seven years in Division II coaching at West Chester. He has been a defensive coordinator and coached multiple positions on both sides of the ball.Â

Several of Hossler's players played in the NFL including punter Kyle Richardson and linebacker Carlos Emmons, who has played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants.

Hossler was a four-year letterman at linebacker for Millersville and earned All-PSAC East honors in 1976.

He and his wife Kay have two daughters: Megan and Michelle.
