Neiman has heped the Marauders to a NCAA Atlantic Regional berth, PSAC East title and a 65-41-1 record over his first two seasons. Overseeing the Marauders' baserunning, infielders and outfielders, Neiman boosted the team's totals from 1.3 steals per game to 1.6 per game in 2012, and the club came within two steals of the school record in 2013. The Marauders ranked third in the PSAC in 2012 and second in 2013. Neiman also took over the duties of coaching third base during the 2013 campaign.
Defensively, the Marauders ranked third in the PSAC with a .970 fielding percentage in 2013. Stone was named the division's player of the year and All-America Second Team.
Neiman boasts an extensive and impressive resume, coaching and developing players at the highest level of college baseball. Prior to his arrival at Millersville, he served two seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Maryland. Neiman’s responsibilities included coaching the catchers and hitters, coaching third base on game days and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the team. He arrived in College Park after spending the 2009 season as the assistant coach at the Florida Gulf Coast University, where he helped guide the Eagles to a 36-18 overall record.
Florida Gulf Coast also won the Atlantic Sun regular season championship with a 23-7 conference mark that year. Neiman saw a trio of Eagles named All-Atlantic Sun First Team, led by starting pitcher Chris Sale, who was the Chicago White Sox first round selection and the 15th pick overall in the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft. Also under his tutelage, catcher Bobby Green threw out 56 percent of would-be base stealers, ranking first in the conference.
Prior to his stint at FGCU, Neiman spent the 2007 and 2008 seasons as the top assistant and recruiting coordinator at his alma mater, DeSales University. In 2008 Neiman played a strong role in guiding the Bulldogs to a Freedom Conference Championship. In two seasons, Neiman helped four Bulldogs earn All-Mid-Atlantic Region honors, 15 were named to the All-Freedom Conference team and the team claimed back-to-back conference rookie of the year awards.
Before joining the Bulldogs, Neiman served as an assistant coach at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, he served as the head coach for the New Market Rebels in the Valley League in 2008 and the Limeport Milkmen in 2007. Overall Neiman has seen 28 former players sign professional contracts.
Neiman attended DeSales University where he was a three-year starter for the Bulldogs. He helped lead the Bulldogs to four consecutive Freedom Conference Championships, four NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournaments, helped capture the school's first-ever regional championship and was a member of the only team in school history to advance to the NCAA Division III College World Series in 2003.
At DeSales, Neiman earned All-Freedom honors three times, was named the Freedom Conference Player of the Year his junior year and earned American Baseball Coaches Association all Mid-Atlantic Regional honors three times. After graduation Neiman played professionally for the New Jersey Jackals in the Cam Am League.
He graduated with a bachelor's degree in sports management. Neiman and his wife Melissa reside in Millersville.
