
Eight Marauders named CSC Academic All-District At-Large

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Members of the Millersville University men's golf, wrestling, field hockey, women's lacrosse and women's golf teams have been recognized as Academic All-District® by College Sports Communicators.
Millersville's honorees included Bo Meakim from men's golf; Gavin Boland from wrestling; field hockey's Sarah Crysler, Erin Esterhuizen and Daina Thomson; women's golf's Lex Pfeufer and Katlyn Krebs and Shannon Meder from women's lacrosse. Meakim and Krebs were selected for the second consecutive year.
The at-large teams include athletes from a variety of sports including beach volleyball, bowling, crew, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing and water polo. Student-athletes must hold a cumulative 3.50 GPA while also appearing in 90% of events or starting at least 66% of events.
Meakim graduated in May with a 3.87 GPA in sports business. Meakim served as the president of Millersville's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee while playing 26 rounds and posting a 77.4 scoring average and nine top-10 finishes.
Boland, also named NWCA Scholar All-American, finished the year with a 3.65 cumulative GPA and a 4.0 spring semester GPA as a computer science and automatic and robotics engineering major. Boland served as Millersville's starter at 125 pounds, won 14 matches and placed fourth at the Super Region 1 Championships.
Sarah Crysler, also an NFHCA National Academic Squad selection, recorded a 3.76 cumulative GPA in pre-occupational therapy and psychology. She produced a 4.0 GPA in the 2026 spring semester. Crysler was Millersville's starting goalkeeper in 2025 and posted a .724 saves percentage against 123 shots.
Esterhuizen, a member of the NFHCA National Academic Squad, completed her junior season with a 3.71 GPA in psychology. Esterhuizen started 17 of the field hockey team's 18 games and totaled four goals and two assists.
Thomson was also a member of the NFHCA National Academic Squad as she recorded a 3.64 GPA in sports medicine. Thomson played more than 500 minutes in Millersville's 18 games and scored three goals including a game-winner against American International.
Pfeufer, a WGCA All-American Scholar, posted a 3.78 GPA as a nuclear medicine major. Pfeufer played 21 rounds in 13 events, recording a 94.0 scoring average. She finished 27th at the PSAC Championship in April.
Krebs, a two-time honoree, was an All-PSAC East Second Team selection for women's lacrosse. Krebs completed her career as an elementary education major with a 3.95 GPA. She started all 15 of the team's games in 2026, led the team in caused turnovers and ranked second in draw controls and ground balls.
Meder, an elementary education major, closed her junior season with a 3.90 GPA, including a 4.0 GPA during the spring semester. Meder started 10 of the team's 16 games and recorded 13 goals and six assists.
