Marauders continue to struggle in loss against Frostburg State

FROSTBURG, MD. - The Millersville University men's tennis team suffered their second loss of the week, falling 5–2 to Frostburg State. Daniel Ducheyne was the only Marauder to earn a singles victory, while two Marauder teams secured wins during doubles play.
The Marauders secured the doubles point in the match after the pairs of Adrian Weisser and Paul Bagnouls, and Arrav Bharti and Daniel Ducheyne defeated their opponents. Weisser and Bagnouls went into a tiebreaker to secure their victory, 7–6(5). Ducheyne and Bharti picked up a 6–4 win. Sandor Wulf and Axel Duclos struggled in doubles, falling 6–2 after being the only Marauder pair to win their match yesterday against Davis & Elkins.
In singles, the only Marauder who did not struggle against his opponent was Ducheyne , who picked up a dominant 6–2, 6–0 victory. Urbanek nearly won his first set but narrowly fell 7–5. Weisser and Bharti battled in their first sets before struggling in the second, while Wulf and Duclos faced difficulties throughout their matches.
The Marauders will look to bounce back after a few days off when they travel to face Goucher College on Friday, March 13.
