POSTGAME REACTION
After the Marauders' loss to Slippery Rock, head coach Shelly Behrens pointed to an uneven performance across the game, saying, "I thought we were prepared, we were ready, but I think 1st quarter wasn't really great, just kind of a feeling-out quarter."Â
Behrens noted the Marauders created chances but did not finish enough of them: "We left chances on the field, as Erica said to the girls, we left chances out there and we have to be better."Â
Looking ahead, the Marauders travel to Kutztown, Pa., to face No. 2 Kutztown on Wednesday, which they have already faced off in a non-conference match. Â Behrens said "Right now it's a 24-hour rule for us, and then we got to come back, reset, and go do what we do."
