JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — The Millersville men's golf team earned a sixth-place finish out of 17 programs at the Sunnehanna Collegiate this week, posting consistent scores across all three rounds of play at Sunnehanna Country Club.
Graduate student Bo Meakim paced the Marauders with rounds of 78, 68, and 70 to finish even-par at 216, securing the team's low score. Meakim shot an eagle on hole 11, which was a short par five at the course. Cole Duffy followed closely with a strong performance of two over (218) after rounds of 73, 69, and 72. Duffy also shot an eagle on hole 11 in the third round of play. Logan Wagner shot three over (219), highlighted by a 72 in the opening round. Max Pflieger contributed four over par (220), while Jake Shmonov rounded out the lineup at 16 over par (234).
Millersville's balanced effort placed the Marauders firmly in the top third of the competitive field. Millersville will aim to maintain its low scores at the Alvernia Invitational on Tuesday, October 7.
