LEBANON, Pa. --- The Millersville Marauders surged to the top of the leaderboard at the Lebanon Valley Spring Invitational on March 30, 2026, securing a definitive first-place team victory. This marks the second time the Marauders have performed exceptionally well at Lebanon Valley College (LVC) this season, this time officially walking away with the hardware after finishing with a team total of 311 (+23). Millersville edged out Elizabethtown A by two strokes to claim the title in the 15-team field.
Leading the charge for the Marauders was the duo of Max Pflieger and Jake Shmonov, who finished in a three-way tie for first place individually alongside Penn State Berks' Peyton Moyer. Max Pflieger carded a 3-over-par 75, anchored by a steady 36 on the back nine and a clutch birdie on the par-4 17th hole. Jake Shmonov also turned in a 75 (+3), showing remarkable consistency with a 38 on the front and a 37 on the back, including a birdie on the par-3 3rd hole. Close behind, Josh Baker secured a top-10 finish by ending the day in a tie for 8th place. Baker shot a 6-over-par 78, finding his rhythm with a 38 on the back nine and recording birdies on holes 2 and 14.
The Marauders' victory was fueled by their incredible depth, as every member of the scoring lineup finished within the top 15 of the 78-player tournament. Cole Duffy, Bo Meakim, and Logan Wagner all finished in a tie for 11th place with identical scores of 79 (+7). Cole Duffy started his round red-hot, playing his first seven holes at 1-under-par, which included a birdie on the par-4 4th. Bo Meakim remained steady throughout the afternoon, carding birdies on the par-5 2nd and the par-3 3rd. Logan Wagner balanced his scorecard with two birdies of his own, coming at the par-3 9th and the par-5 15th. By placing six golfers in the top 11 spots, Millersville proved to be the class of the field.
