Bloomsburg gained the early advantage, earning a quick corner kick that was unsuccessful. The Huskies followed up with their first shot on goal, which was saved by Sabrina Zimmerman, who finished the day with two saves. Bloomsburg ultimately broke through in the 19th minute, finding an opportunity through the Marauder back line to take a 1–0 lead.
Millersville attempted to respond 10 minutes later on Bloomsburg's side of the field as Maia Iannuzzi put a shot on goal that was saved. Senior Isabel Coy followed with a shot of her own that was also unsuccessful. The first half ended with Bloomsburg maintaining its 1–0 advantage.
The opening minutes of the second half saw both teams take shots on goal, but neither was able to convert. Lia Francis looked to tie things up in the 57th minute but was unable to capitalize.
As the 70th minute approached, Aubrey Strohecker drove to the net and pulled the ball back behind a defender to find an open look, scoring the equalizer.
The final 20 minutes featured back-and-forth play as both teams sought the edge. The decisive moment came in the final three minutes when Strohecker once again attacked the net and dished the ball across the box to Caroline Wood, who delivered the game-winning goal to put the Marauders up 2–1.
Millersville held strong for the final minutes to secure the victory and advance to the next round of the PSAC Tournament. The Marauders will travel to face No. 25 Slippery Rock on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
