Box Score BLOOMSBURG, Pa. --- Millersville field hockey (7-11, PSAC 3-6) lost its final regular season game against No. 6 Bloomsburg (13-4, PSAC 5-4) by a close score of 2-1 in Bloomsburg on Saturday afternoon to conclude its 2025 season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The word that has been present all year for the Marauders sums up their performance in their attempt to sneak into the PSAC Playoffs—grit. The Marauders went down 2-0 to Bloomsburg with only 20 minutes left of play.

After going down 2-0, they fought and scored their first goal in nearly six games. Erin Esterhuizen split the lead in half with a goal just one minute after Bloomsburg's second goal with an assist from Alexis Kern. Despite still being down one, the Marauders would go on to take two shots in the fourth quarter that were both saved.

On the score sheet, the game was just as close as it ended up being with both teams taking seven total shots, but it was the Marauders who had the advantage in shots on goal with six to Bloomsburg's four.

    • "Honestly- to soon to say what one message may be.  But I love how hard they train and play. Their heart & passion.
