Millersville makes change at head football coach

| By:
MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Millersville University has announced that head football coach J.C. Morgan has been relieved of his duties effective immediately. Brian Ferguson will serve as the interim head coach for the remainder of the 2025 season.

"Millersville University and the athletic department have a commitment to excellence and have made significant financial support dedicated to scholarships within our football program, said Millersville Director of Athletics Kate Corcoran. "We look forward to identifying our next head coach who can capitalize on the resources and momentum that have been building off the field over the past few years."

A national search will be conducted immediately upon the conclusion of the 2025 season.

"The success of the football program is a priority for Millersville University," said Corcoran. "Our alumni and community have diligently supported our student-athletes, and we know that will continue as we set our course for the future of the program."

Morgan produced a 15-56 record since 2018, going 9-34 against the PSAC East.

"On behalf of the entire 'Ville community, we thank Coach Morgan for his enthusiasm, dedication, and effort over the past seven seasons," said Corcoran.

Ferguson joined Millersville in spring 2025 as the offensive coordinator and brings years of experience at the NCAA, Arena Football and NFL levels.
