Marauders open PSAC play with 7–0 win over Kutztown

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Marauders opened their conference play with a 7–0 sweep against PSAC East foe Kutztown to improve to 7–6 on the season.
The Marauders didn't lose a single match, going 3–0 in doubles play and 6–0 in singles matches. Noelle Htwar and Hui Jen Soo won the top match 6–4, Chloe Abramowitz and Sido Rault won 6–2, and Sophie Lanius and Lauren Hayes finished doubles play with a 6–2 win.
Htwar started off singles play for the Marauders with a 2–6, 6–1, 6–0 win, and Soo came out victorious with a 6–3, 6–2 win. Abramowitz defeated her opponent 6–1, 6–1, and Rault dominated her match to win 6–0, 6–0. Hayes took care of business with a 6–2, 6–2 win, and Lanius won the last match of the day 6–1, 6–1.
The Marauders are back in action at 1 p.m. tomorrow afternoon in Frostburg, Md. To take on Frostburg State.
