Women's tennis drops close match to Goldey-Beacom

WILMINGTON, Del. – The Millersville women's tennis team had a four-match win streak snapped by Goldey-Beacom, falling 4–3.
The Marauders top duo of Noell Htwar and Hui Jen Soo won their doubles match 6–3, but were unable to win a second to secure the doubles point. In singles play, Htwar came away with a 6–4, 6–3 win to start strong for Millersville. Sido Rault won a close match by the score of 6–4, 3–6, 6–4, and Lauren Hayes got the third point for Millersville by way of a 6–1, 6–4 win.
The Marauders match against East Stroudsburg originally slated for tomorrow was pushed back to next Tuesday, April 23, so their next match is at 1 p.m. on Saturday at home against West Chester.
