'Ville baseball debuts at No. 2 in ABCA Division II Poll

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The first ABCA Division II Coaches Poll of the season was released this week with Millersville University debuting at No. 2.
The Marauders have started the season 18-3 with a win over No. 3 Central Missouri (22-4) and three over Goldey-Beacom (14-8), which is receiving votes in the poll. Millersville's only losses have come against No. 1 Tampa, No. 17 Molloy (13-5) and Goldey-Beacom.
The No. 2 ranking is Millersville's highest since finishing the 2016 season at No. 2. Millersville climbed as high as No. 5 in the poll in 2023 and has been nationally ranked in the ABCA poll in six consecutive seasons. D2 Baseball Insider also has the Marauders at No. 2, up two spots from last week.
The Marauders enter Wednesday's game at Wilmington riding a 10-game winning streak. They have not allowed more than three runs in any of those games and have outscored opponents 93-15.
