Woelfling hits NCAA qualifying distance at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – Millersville women's indoor track and field was back in action this weekend at the Princeton Invitational. Hannah Woelfling continued her strong indoor season with a first-place finish and an NCAA qualifying distance of 45-1 in the shot put. In addition to Woelfling's strong performance, six more Marauders punched tickets to the PSAC Indoor Track and Field Championship.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
The Marauders will have five days to prepare for the PSAC Championships which are set to take place from Friday, Feb. 24 – Sunday, Feb. 26.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
- Arianna Kouakou placed first in the 200-meter dash with a PSAC qualifying time of 26.37.
- Mia Carson finished second in the 400-meter dash with a PSAC qualifying time of 1:00.89.
- Cora Heilman ran a PSAC qualifying time of 2:25.15 to place third in the 800-meter.
- Madison Stebila notched a PSAC qualifying mark of 5-1 to earn third place in the high jump.
- Woelfling and Maddy Downs placed second and third in the weight throw respectively. Downs hit a PSAC qualifying mark of 49-2 ½.
- Madison Stebila competed at the Frank Colden Invitational and recorded a PSAC qualifying 2,392 points.
- Darian Hauf (12-1 ¼) and Megan Malecki (10-7 ½) placed second and third in the pole vault.
- Lauren Festa placed third in the triple jump with a distance of 34-0 ¾.
