MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Bobby Lugiano is set to compete as an individual in the 2022 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Atlantic Super Regional. Lugiano is one of four individuals competing without a team in the Atlantic Region and is set to represent Millersville in the event.

The event will take place from Thursday, May 5 to Saturday, May 7 at Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor, N.Y.

ABOUT LUGIANO

The sophomore has led the Marauders throughout the year, averaging just over a 68 over 19 rounds of play.
Lugiano has tightened up his play in the spring semester, placing top-seven in all four of the Marauders' events, with his best finish coming at the Dr. Edwin B. Cotrell Invitational where he placed second.
The Sophomore has experience playing at Ravenwood Golf Club from earlier this semester, shooting a 150 through two rounds to finish with a share of seventh place at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Preview.
Last year the Marauders qualified for the event as a team and Lugiano was their second-lowest scorer. He shot a 238 over three rounds to finish tied for 40^th place.

ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT

The NCAA Division II Men's Golf Atlantic Super Regional will take place from Thursday, May 5 to Saturday, May 7 at Ravenwood Golf Club in Victor, N.Y.
A total of 10 institutions will compete in the event, along with four individual golfers.
At a minimum, the top three teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional will advance to the finals May 16-20 at TPC Michigan in Detroit, Michigan. The remaining eight team berths will be allocated based on the regions represented in the prior year's head-to-head medal play portion of the championships, with the maximum number of teams from a given region capped at seven. The finals will be hosted by Wayne State (Michigan) and the Detroit Sports Commission.
