'Ville women's tennis wins fourth in row

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The Millersville's tennis team recognized Jasmine Morris, Kelsey Heckert and Aneesa Malik on Saturday's Senior Day and then delivered a 7-0 sweep of Kutztown.
The win was Millersville's fourth in a row and improved it to 8-5 overall and 2-0 in PSAC East action. All three seniors contributed to the win with Morris and Heckert teaming for a doubles win and both winning their doubles matches. Malik contributed to a win at No. 3 doubles. The win was Millersville's first 7-0 shutout of the season.
MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
• Wallace and Htwar won (6-3) their fourth consecutive doubles match for their team-leading 11th win in the No. 1 doubles slot. Morris and Heckert, now 17-9 all-time as a team, celebrated Senior Day with a 6-4 win in the No. 2 spot. Malik and Chloe Abramowitz earned their first win together by a 6-4 score.
• Millersville took all six singles matches in straight sets, although Kutztown's Claudia Makarski pushed Maria Ojeda to a tiebreaker in the second set before Ojeda won, 6-0, 7-6 (7-0). Millersville players won nine of the 12 sets without dropping more than one game.
