Woelfling to represent Marauders at NCAA Championship Meet

PITTSBURG, KS. –. Sophomore standout Hannah Woelfling will represent the Millersville track and field team at the upcoming NCAA DII Indoor Championship Meet.
Woelfling qualified in the shot put as the No. 15 seed with a mark of 48-1 and the No. 19 seed in the weight throw with a distance of 59-9. She recently won the weight throw title at the Pennsylvania State Conference Championship Meet this past weekend with a distance of 59-8 ¼.
"We are very happy to see Hannah qualified for NCAAs in two events," head coach Andy Young said. "It continues a tradition of high-level performances from our team."
Senior Aliyah Striver (weight throw and shot put) and freshman Darian Hauf (pole vault) were also under consideration after earning All-PSAC honors but did not make the final cut for their respective events.
The NCAA meet will run March 11-12 at the Robert W. Plaster Center in Pittsburg, Kansas.
The weight throw is set for 5:55 p.m. on March 11, click here for live results.
