BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – After day one in the PSAC individual championship, three Marauders were bounced out of the tournament and concluded their fall schedule on Oct. 8.  

Noelle Htwar and Hui Jen Soo moved on to the round of 16 after clinching their first match. Htwar defeated Brooklyn Rupert of Shippensburg University (6-0, 6-0), before falling in her second match. Soo picked up a 3-6, 6-3, (10-4) win over Mia Shuler of Lock Haven University but fell in her next match to Joanna Stralka of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  

Maria Ojeda was defeated in the round of 32 after facing Karolin Kirchtag of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  

In the doubles bracket, Htwar and Ojeda advanced to the quarterfinals with an 8-0 win. The duo faced Slippery Rock University's Gabriela Del Val Del Toro and Nuria Martin Lopez who ended the Marauders doubles action.  

The women's tennis team concluded its fall schedule and will resume action on Feb. 17.
