In Game Two (Millersville 3 – Mercyhurst 1)
- Mercyhurst won the first set 25-19, before Ville flipped the script, winning the following three sets to secure their first win of the season.
- "What stood out to me was Madison Von Neida passing above a 2.5 and Emma running our offense," Smith added.
- With the win, Millersville improved to 3-10 all time against Mercyhurst.
- Ville outscored Mercyhurst 76-53 over the final three sets.

- "We needed our young team to just continue to get a feel for each other at real game speed."
- "We talked prior to the weekend that it's a tough turnaround when you have four matches in two days. We saw a difference in our second match, I felt we had more left in our tank for our second match and our pace of play really started to take its toll on our opponent."
- The Marauders are back in action Saturday morning with another double header, starting at 10:00 a.m. against Goldey-Beacom. Ville wraps up the Ram Fest Tournament at 2:00 p.m. against Franklin Pierce.
- "We tell the team to get rest and stay hydrated," Smith said of the quick turnaround. "It's a grind, we need to have more grit than our opponents."
