ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• Millersville went 13-1 in Pucillo Gymnasium in 2018 and makes its 2019 home debut on Tuesday against familiar non-conference foe Jefferson. The Marauders started the season in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and returned with a 1-3 record, but the record doesn't tell the whole story. Two of Millersville's losses came to No. 7-ranked Lewis and No. 15-ranked Palm Beach, and the other was a five-set loss to Nova Southeastern, which was playing on its home court. The Marauders took Palm Beach Atlantic to four sets and three of the sets were decided by two points.
• Home court advantage has been key for the Marauders in recent years, having posting a winning record at home in four consecutive seasons and an overall 36-17 home record during that stretch.
• Setter Katie Laughman was named to the Shark Invitational All-Tournament team for her efforts. She posted double-digit assists and digs in all four matches and topped 40 assists twice. She posted 46 assists and 16 digs in the match against Palm Beach Atlantic. During the weekend, Laughman became just the third Marauder ever to total 2,000 career assists and 1,000 career digs.
• Lindsey Blevins' 21 kills against Palm Beach Atlantic were one shy of a career high. In her final two matches at the tournament, she posted 29 kills to just four errors.
• Emily Hoffman was a weapon for the Marauders in the service game as she totaled seven service aces while committed just two errors. She posted three against both Nova Southeastern and Shaw.
• Libero Kat Forry surpassed 1,000 career digs over the weekend, moving up to ninth in the career record books.

SCOUTING THE RAMS
• Jefferson was voted third in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South Division Preseason Poll and received three first-place votes, ranking behind Georgian Court and Holy Family, which were tied for the preseason favorite spot.
• Last season, the Rams went 23-10 with a 16-3 CACC record. They reached the CACC Quarterfinals. Head coach Latifa Raheem is back for her second season and returns five of her top six point scorers.
• Logan Dontell and Alexis Leddy are both back after scoring All-CACC honors in 2018. Dontell, now a junior, averaged 2.15 kills per set and led the team with 82 blocks from her middle hitter position. Leddy, now a senior, was all-conference as a libero, totaling a team-high 437 digs.
