Box Score Erie, Pa. - Facing one of the top 30 teams in the country, the Millersville University men's tennis team lost at Mercyhurst on Sunday afternoon, 6-1.

The Marauders (2-11, 0-2 PSAC) were playing their third game in as many days, while the Lakers (10-2, 2-0 PSAC) improve to 8-0 at home this season.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
• Rodrigo Lorencin earned the lone Millersville point in the match, cruising to a 6-4, 6-3 win at flight six singles. This marks Lorencin's third-straight singles victory.
• Ben Fellman and Jose Alcazar teamed up to win at flight two doubles, 6-4.
• Carlos Martinez-Lucas lost a well-fought flight one singles match. After winning the first set 6-1, he lost the second set, 6-2, before dropping the final set, 10-6.

• "We played a great match against the No. 29 team in the country today. We played our best second and third doubles of the season. We're within the margin of error with these teams and that is fantastic. We're also learning how to dictate doubles and win close singles matches. We're a good team, much better than our record indicates."

NOTES
• Mercyhurst now leads the all-time series against the Marauders, 18-7.
• This also marks the Lakers' seventh-straight win over Millersville dating back to 2013.
