
Women’s golf takes third at Alvernia Fall Invitational

MOHNTON, Pa. – The Millersville women's golf team finished in third place at the Alvernia Fall Invitational shooting a single-round score of 373 (+85). All five Marauders made the top 25.
West Chester took home the team title shooting 344 (+56) while Alvernia's own Bri Hocker topped the individual leaderboard carding a 78 (+6).
TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS
• Alexandra Craig lead the Marauders tying for seventh with an 86 (+14).
• Hannah Yanoski landing in the top 10 with an 89 (+17) to take the ninth-place spot.
• Amanda Steier tied for 13th and carded a 96 (+24).
• Cassandra Vogel and Joelie Bennett rounded out the top 25. Vogel shot a 102 (+30) and tied for 21st. Bennett carded a 103 (+21) and placed in 23rd.
NOTES
• Craig earned her second top-10 finish of the season.
• Yanoski now holds two top-10 finishes this season.
• Steier recorded her second top-25 finish this fall.
• Vogel earned her first top-25 finish this season.
• Bennett recorded her first top-25 finish this season.
