ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• The Marauder Clash returns to Pucillo Gymnasium Friday and Saturday with eight matches each day. It is the first time since 2015 that the Marauders have hosted a multi-team invitational. The Marauders take on Bloomfield and USciences on Friday and Shepherd and Dominican on Saturday.
• Millersville snapped a three-match skid on Wednesday with a sweep of Jefferson. Millersville's .225 hitting percentage was its second-highest of the season. Through 17 sets, Millersville owns a .199 hitting percentage, which ranks sixth in the PSAC.

Lindsey Blevins totaled 19 kills against Jefferson and has totaled 17 or more kills in three of the last four matches. Blevins ranks third in the PSAC in kills per set.

Jayci Suseland had double-digit kills in each of the first four matches, and her .327 hitting percentage ranks seventh in the PSAC. She also ranks sixth in kills per set.

Katie Laughman has recorded 33 or more assists in four consecutive matches. She also has two double-doubles in that stretch, totaling 40 assists and 10 digs against Ohio Dominican and 33 assists and 15 digs against Ursuline.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
• Millersville and Bloomfield met just once before, and that came in 2008. Bloomfield is just two years removed from a 21-win season, but it went 8-21 in 2017 and is off to an 0-6 start without a set won. Bloomfield's opponents are averaging nearly double the number of kills per set (13.8 to 7.8). Bloomfield is hitting .022 as a team.
• USciences has two matches played and it lost to East Stroudsburg and Merrimack in straight sets. In the opener, Brooke Witmer became the 10th player in program history to reach 100 career block assists. Last season, USciences went 6-17. Millersville won last season's meeting 3-0 (25-9, 25-16, 25-5).
• Millersville's first match-up on Saturday is a future PSAC match-up as Shepherd is set to join the league in 2019. Shepherd is off to a 6-2 start, and that includes wins over PSAC foes Kutztown, Slippery Rock and Mercyhurst. One of the losses was in five sets to Shippensburg and the other was a four-set loss to Southern New Hampshire. Shepherd went 23-7 last season and was picked second in the Mountain East preseason poll.
• Millersville and Dominican last met in 2009. The Chargers are in search of their first win after four matches. The Chargers are hitting .006 as a team while opponents own a .324 hitting percentage and average 12.6 kills and 3.2 aces per set.
