"It was a challenging year with many new faces and more banged up players than is typical," said head coach Brian Smith. "I appreciate everyone continuing to work. We ended playing a quality match and a memorable one for our seniors who will be missed. Congrats to Caroline for getting her career 500th kill in her last match, she needed 9 to reach 500 and had a 10 kill day. I want to thank Caroline and Taylor for their leadership as team Captains this season and for being model Student Athletes. I will miss them and Kinsey as they graduate and move on with their lives. We had many freshman get significant playing time this year and lessons learned will help them moving forward. As always I feel privileged to have the opportunity to Coach such wonderful Student Athletes."
