MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The Millersville University women's volleyball program had four Marauders named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for the 2025–26 season. Senior captains
Caroline Halsey and
Taylor Welter were joined by juniors
Sam White and
Becca Hartranft in earning the academic honor.
The CSC Academic All-District program is a part of the organization's Academic All-American initiative, which is designed to honor college student-athletes who perform at an elite level in their chosen sport and in the classroom. To be eligible for All-District, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore and maintain at least a 3.50 grade point average on a 4.0 scale while appearing in at least 90% of their team's matches.
Welter (Early Childhood Ed.) appeared in 88 sets across 26 matches, leading the Marauders in points (273.0) and kills (258) while maintaining a 3.71 GPA. Halsey (Accounting) posted a 3.78 GPA and saw action in 94 sets over 28 matches, recording 113 kills and 20 service aces. White (Accounting) earned the highest GPA of the group at 3.92 and made an impact on the court in 94 sets across 27 matches, leading the team in hitting percentage (.244) and total blocks. Hartranft (Sports Administration)appeared in 99 sets over 28 matches as the Marauders' libero, ranking 13th in the PSAC in digs, while leading the team in both digs and service aces (38). She finished the year with a 3.52 GPA.
