ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• Millersville returns to Pucillo Gymnasium for a pair of matches against the PSAC Central. Millersville is looking to bounce back after dropping back-to-back matches at Gannon and Mercyhurst last weekend, while both Lock Haven and Bloomsburg are in search of a first conference win. With 11 teams owning at least two league wins through four matches, competition for playoff spots figures to be fierce in 2018.
• Millersville is 6-1 at home with its lone loss coming in four sets against Shepherd. Of Millersville's six losses, only two have been in three sets.
• Millersville ranks sixth in the PSAC in hitting percentage (.208) and have held opponents to the sixth-fewest kills per set (10.96). The Marauders' 1.83 aces per set ranks fifth in the league.
• Opponents have recorded at least five aces with an average of 7.8 aces per match in Millersville's six losses. In the team's seven wins, it has allowed just 3.7 aces per match. Millersville is 1-5 when committing seven or more receiving errors.
• Millersville has hit .225 or better in seven matches and is 6-1 in those matches.
Jayci Suseland is coming off of a 19-kill performance at Mercyhurst. She has double-digit kills in six of the last seven matches. Suseland ranks fourth in the PSAC in hitting percentage (.338) and has at least 120 more attacks than any other player ranked in the top six.
Lindsey Blevins' 3.61 kills per set ranks seventh in the PSAC.
Kat Forry ranks eighth in the league in service aces per set, having recorded at least one in 11 of the team's 13 matches. Forry matched her season and career high against Mercyhurst with four. She has at least one ace in eight consecutive matches, and has six in a row without a service error.
• Coming off a 42-assist performance against Mercyhurst, Katie Laughman ranks eighth in the league. She has also become adept at sneaking in kills of her own. She has recorded 20 kills without committing an error in the last six matches. Laughman has six double-doubles pairing double-digit assists and digs.

• Millersville has won just 13 times in 43 all-time meetings, but five of those wins have come in the eight seasons under Brian Smith. The Marauders have also won three of the last four meetings. Last season, Lock Haven won a five-set match at Millersville while the Marauders won in four on the road. With the realignment of the PSAC, this will be the only match-up of the season between Millersville and Lock Haven. The clubs had met twice each season between 2008 and 2017.
• Saturday is the first-ever meeting between Millersville and Bloomsburg. Bloomsburg is in its first season as a program.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
• Lock Haven has lost six of its last seven with its lone win in that stretch being a sweep of USciences at the Marauder Clash on Sept. 8. Most recently, Lock Haven lost a pair of four-set matches to Clarion and IUP. Lock Haven is allowing more kills per set than any other team in the league (12.52), still it ranks second in digs per set at 20.8.
• Lock Haven's quartet of Breanna McDonald, Veronica Morrison, Chloe Williams and Gabrielle Stick have all totaled 90 or more kills and average better than 2.0 kills per set.
• Despite being a first-year program, Bloomsburg owns a 4-9 overall record and has played a challenging schedule against the likes of national No. 1 Nebraska-Kearney. The Huskies most recently lost in three to Clarion (25-23, 25-12, 25-17). The team's last win came on Sept. 8 against West Virginia Wesleyan (25-23, 18-25, 34-32, 25-21).
• As a team, the Huskies have 74 aces compared to opponents' 66. The Huskies, however, rank 15th in hitting percentage, 15th in opponent hitting percentage and 16th in blocks, averaging just 0.76 per set. Sarah Gomish is the team's top offensive performer with 4.0 kills per set and a .166 hitting percentage.
