
Landis claims lone win in the 8-1 loss to Mercyhurst

Millersville, Pa. – No. 1 singles Peter Landis defeated his opponent in the only victory that went the Marauders' way in the 8-1 loss to the Mercyhurst men's tennis team Friday afternoon. The Lakers improved to 11-1 and kept their conference undefeated record going at 3-0.
Landis won his first set 7-6 in a tiebreaker over Nenad Terzic of Mercyhurst. The Millersville player to win six games in the tiebreaker situation. In the second set, Landis and Terzic battled back-and-forth but Landis came on top 7-5. Landis recorded his seventh victory of the season.
All of the doubles matchups went to the Lakers.
The Marauders are back in action Sunday, April 8 at McComsey Courts at 12 p.m. when they face Shepherd.
