
Jones claims win in 8-1 loss to Bloomsburg

Bloomsburg, Pa. – Junior Katina Jones won 6-3, 6-4 in her No. 1 singles match-up Saturday afternoon in the 8-1 loss to Bloomsburg. The Millersville University women's tennis team suffered its first conference loss.
Jones earned her sixth win of the season and fourth victory in dual matches.
Sophomore Haley Nauman captured five games in the first set but Giovanna Bonito won seven to claim the first set, 7-5. Bonito never looked back and won 6-0 in the second set.
The Marauders return home for their first spring match at Millersville against Kuztown on Saturday, March 31 at 1 p.m.
