ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• Millersville women's volleyball is in the PSAC Tournament, but there is still plenty to play for on Friday and Saturday--the final two matches of the regular season. The Marauders can win the PSAC Southeast Division with two wins or with a win over East Stroudsburg and two East Stroudsburg losses. The Marauders are 9-7 in PSAC play and East Stroudsburg is 10-6. Millersville won the first meeting of the season between the teams and a win Saturday would give the Marauders the tiebreaker.
• The last time Millersville won a division was in 1999 when the PSAC was two divisions. The conference split into four divisions in 2016. Millersville will make its first playoff appearance since 2013 and just its fourth since 2002.
• Millersville has won three consecutive matches and five of the last seven. Millersville is 11-1 at home, which is its most home wins since posting a 14-7 record in 2011.
•
Jayci Suseland has won the PSAC Southeast Division Athlete of the Week award twice in October. Against West Chester on Tuesday, Suseland totaled a career-high 24 kills to just four errors while hitting .385. In her last three matches, Suseland has totaled 57 kills while hitting .447. She has totaled double-digit kills in 12 consecutive matches. Suseland ranks second in the PSAC in hitting percentage (.333) and second in kills (4.02 per set). She is six kills away from cracking Millersville's single-season top 10 list. Her current hitting percentage would also rank fourth-best all-time, trailing only three entries from Millersville hall of famer Abby Hafer.
•
Katie Laughman's 55 assists in Tuesday's four-set match vaulted her to No. 4 in the PSAC in assists per set with 10.03. At her current pace, Laughman has an opportunity to become the fifth player in program history to total 1,000 assists in a season. Laughman also totaled three aces in the match and has eight matches with two or more aces this season. She leads the team with 29 aces.
•
Lindsey Blevins has a team-leading 14 double-doubles and has hit double-digits in both kills and digs in 12 of the last 16 matches.
