Millersville, Pennsylvania - Millersville baseball will honor one of its own while raising money to support a cause close to home by hosting a K's For Cancer fundraiser during its doubleheader against West Chester at Cooper Park on Saturday, April 8.
Justin Flannery Hilton, who pitched for the Marauders from 2004-05, was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2008 and passed away in 2013 at age 28. All proceeds benefit K's For Cancer. Additionally, the team clubhouse pitchers' room will be dedicated in Hilton's honor with a plaque.
Hilton earned All-PSAC East Second Team honors as a starting pitcher in 2004. That year, he finished with a 1.69 ERA and 32 strikeouts in eight appearances. He was a teammate of Coach Jon Shehan's
