Freed and Greene lead the Marauders into the spring after a strong fall season

Millersville, Pennsylvania -- The Millersville women's golf team prepares for a spring surge after a strong fall season.
Sophomore Danielle Greene and senior Danielle Freed lead the Marauders in finishes and scoring average.
Greene averaged a team low 80.13 in eight rounds. Greene finished top-5 in five out of six tournaments while tying for second at the PSAC Championships.
Freed averaged 81.68 in eight rounds while finishing top-10 in four out of six tournaments. She tied for ninth at the PSAC Championships and finished second in two other tournaments. Her best finish was outright first place at the Eastern Invitational.
Freshman Joelie Bennett improved quickly during her first rounds as a Marauder. Bennett averaged 94.63 over eight rounds while finishing top-10 in two of the teams final three matches of the fall. Bennett's best finish was tying for third place at the Alvernia Invitational.
The women's golf team returns to the links today at the Foxfire Invitational in Foxfire Village, N.C.
